How far in advance should I place my custom order?
All orders should be placed a MINIMUM of two weeks in advance. This allows time to properly plan and order any necessary supplies.
A request form with availability for upcoming pick up dates will be released quarterly. At this release date, you will have the opportunity to submit your request for an order. I will get back to your request within a week with more detail and pricing. Please note, submitting a request does NOT confirm an order with me and orders must be paid in full to be reserved on my calendar.

How do I pay for my cookies?
Blushing Blonde Baking Co. accepts credit and debit card payments. Please ask if you wish to pay using Venmo or in cash and we can discuss other options! After requesting a custom order and discussing details, you will receive an invoice via Square. You must pay the whole amount listed on the invoice within 48 hours in order to reserve your pick up date or it will be released.
Your invoice will be cancelled 24 hours after you get an overdue reminder. Your pick up date will then be available to others and you will have to submit a new request to receive a new invoice.
When buying holiday sets, you will be able to purchase directly through the website via Apple Pay or credit/debit card. Your payment will be processed through a third party called Stripe. You will immediately receive a confirmation email.
Can you ship my cookies?
Unfortunately not. My cottage food license does not allow for shipping. The cookies are local pick up in Connecticut only.
How long will my cookies stay fresh?
All cookies will be heat sealed and professionally packaged. They will stay fresh for up to two-three weeks after pick up.
Is there a minimum amount I can order?
There is no minimum for the amount of cookies you can buy! However, I would suggest more than one…trust me. Orders are most commonly sets of half or full dozens, but Blushing Blonde Baking Co. also provides small gift sets which include two-three cookies in total.

How much do your cookies cost?
Prices can vary per order depending on colors, writing, and other design specifications. You will be quoted for your design idea upon submission of the custom order form. Regularly cookies usually measure 3.5” - 5” and range from $6.00 - $8.00 plus tax. Mini cookies usually measure 1”-2” and range from $2.00 - $4.00 plus tax.
How can I place an order?
Please see the custom order form page when dates are available and fill out all of the info listed. If you sign up for the email list on the homepage, you will receive an email when availability goes live!
You can visit the Gallery to see past sets. Pinterest is a great place to get new inspiration! Then, we can work together to make your perfect set of cookies!
For holiday orders, there will be limited edition sale pages up and you can select the cookies you would like to purchase! Keep an eye on social media for when these sales open.
Blushing Blonde Baking Co.’s Policies and Procedures
Once submitting your payment for your order, you are agreeing to all the terms below. Please contact me via e-mail BEFORE you submit payment if you have any questions or concerns about the policies listed below.
PAYMENT POLICY:
When placing an order for custom sets, you must pay in full in order to reserve your pick up date. After discussing the details of your order via e-mail, payment will be required via Square invoice within 48 hours. If you do not pay within this window, your order will be released. 24 hours after receiving your past due invoice reminder, the invoice will be cancelled and you will have to submit a new request to get a new invoice.
If you receive an email back quoting your request and you do not respond within a few days, I will move onto the next customer request for your pick up date. Whichever customer pays the invoice first is the customer that will receive the order. Please check your email after submitting a request and please politely decline if you no longer want the order.
For holiday sets, you will be required to pay the price of your order in full at checkout via Apple Pay or credit/debit card. Blushing Blonde Baking Co. is required to add a 6.35% sales tax onto every order. This will be reflected on your invoice.
If you book an order with less than two weeks notice, please be aware that you may be subject to a RUSH FEE.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Keep in mind that as soon as your order is placed and I receive your payment, I begin working on planning designs, ingredients and supplies for your order.
You may cancel your order up to 15 days before pickup date with no penalty. You will receive your payment back in full.
If you cancel between 14 - 8 days before pick up, Blushing Blonde Baking Co. will keep 20% of your order to cover the costs that I may have incurred preparing your order.
If you cancel 7 days or later before your pick up date you will not receive a refund for any amount paid.
If you do not show to pick up your custom cookie order, you have 48 hours from your time of pickup to contact me or your order will be released. You will not receive a refund for any amount paid. Holiday orders that are not picked up within their pick up window will also be released. Please arrive no later than 10 minutes after your pick up time.
If for any reason (sickness, emergency, etc.), Blushing Blonde Baking Co. is not able to fill your order, you will be notified immediately. You will be issued a full refund in any emergency situation on my end.
You may contact me with any changes to your order (i.e. number of cookies, design changes) up to 7 days before your order pickup. If you contact me after this time frame, I cannot guarantee any changes.
PICK UP POLICY:
Pick ups for custom orders and holiday sets will occur locally in New Milford, CT. My address will be provided at checkout for holiday sales. For custom orders I will send you my address when we confirm a pick up time.
Pick up must be agreed upon when placing your order. Please arrive no later than 10 minutes after your pick up time/the pick up window. If you are running late, please e-mail me or message me on my Instagram or Facebook to let me know! No refund will be issued for orders that are not picked up.
DAMAGE AFTER PICK UP:
Blushing Blonde Baking Co. is NOT responsible for any damage that occurs once the cookies are no longer in my possession. Keep cookies upright and try not to stack boxes directly on top of each other.
Please do NOT refrigerate or freeze your cookies! They stay perfectly fresh at room temperature in their heat sealed bags.
While Blushing Blonde does not offer shipping, some people choose to ship cookies to loved ones after picking up locally. I cannot be held responsible for any damage or consequences if you choose to ship your cookies once they are in your possession.
ALLERGY WARNING:
Blushing Blonde Baking Co. strives to prevent cross contamination in the kitchen. However, at the end of the day, my bakery is a home based business. There are nuts present in our kitchen cabinets.
The cookies themselves include eggs, wheat, and soy. Here is the full ingredient list for all of our cookies:
Cookie Ingredients: all purpose flour (bleached wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid, malted barely flour), cane sugar, soybean oil, eggs, vanilla extract (vanilla bean extractives in water, alcohol 35%), baking powder (cornstarch, sodium bicarbonate, sodium aluminum sulfate, monocalcium phosphate), cinnamon, nutmeg, salt
Icing Ingredients: powdered sugar (sugar, cornstarch), water, meringue powder (modified food starch, dried egg whites, sugar, gum arabic, sodium aluminosilicate, citric acid, potassium acid, vanillin), corn syrup (corn syrup, salt, vanilla beans, water, ethyl alcohol), vanilla extract (vanilla bean extractives in water, alcohol 35%), cream of tartar, various food colors (including: black iron oxide, titanium dioxide, red 40, red 40 lake, red 3, yellow 5, yellow 6, blue , blue 2, rice extract, mica)
I cannot offer gluten-free cookies at the moment because I do not have a designated gluten-free workspace.
Blushing Blonde Baking Co. is not liable for any allergic reactions that occur as a result of eating our product. Each order comes with a “Thank You” card that lists all the ingredients and allergens in each cookie. You are responsible for displaying this card and letting all consumers of your order know about the cookies potential to carry common allergens.
The cookies are made in a Cottage Food Operation that is not Subject to Routine Government Food Safety Inspection.
